Cine-Lit is an international conference on Hispanic cinema and literature, co-hosted by Oregon State University and Portland State University, coinciding with the Portland International Film Festival. The triennial conference draws critics, directors, writers, and producers from all over the Hispanic world and the U.S.

Cine-Lit News
Kick-off Event for Cine-Lit 2007 took place on Friday, May 5th, with a free screening of El espíritu de la colmena (Spirit of the Beehive, Spain 1973). Before the movie screening, organizers from Oregon State University, Portland State University, and Northwest Film Center met to discuss conference planning and logistics.  Dr. Guy Wood (OSU) introduced the film.
