All sites follow the same curricular guidelines: * 40 hours of on-site community service per term * reflective diary written by individual student * final team project in collaboration with site coordinator * weekly class meeting

Connecting Educational Communities
CONNECTING EDUCATIONAL COMMUNITIES: PSU ~ GUATEMALA Spanish Language students travel to the beautiful mountainous state of Solala, Guatemala. At this picturesque location, PSU students spend the morning assisting in a variety of projects and activities in rural schools while the afternoons are spent studying Spanish and classes in Guatemalan history and culture in small groups with local teachers and experts. This program confers a total of 8 credits: 4 credits of Span. 404- Cooperative Education and 4 credits of Span. 399- Spanish Language Immersion.
