This course is designed for students who have contact with Spanish at home or as part of their heritage. It is currently offered as a second year course, Spanish 299. Students should arrange credit with the teacher.

Spanish for Native Speakers is taught by Gladys Pérez. Gladys is a master teacher with more than 30 years experience. She is a native of El Salvador and frequently returns to El Salvador to visit with her family. Her classes integrate song, dance, music, hispanic literature and folklore with activities that promote language proficiency.
